Hilary may have won Nevada but what really counts is Obama is leading when it comes to delegates, and the number of delegates at the DNC is what counts people! So don't fret fellow Obama supports just continue to encourage others to get the word out and vote!!

R.I.P Bobby Fischer

Bobby Fischer, the only US born world chess champion has died at the age of 64. Yeah, yeah, I'm a bit a a geek. Chess is a game my dad would play with us as kids, not Monopoly or Life, Chess. So as a child Bobby Fischer was a hero and he still is for many chess enthusiasts novice or pros.

It's a Recession people

Fight as they may, the US economic crisis has been pointing towards a recession for the past 8mths! Finally, someone in government realizes this and has proposed a plan to off set it with tax refunds up to $800 bucks. Even with Bernanke's address to the House Budget Committee yesterday the Dow dropped 300 pts, yikes! Well Prez Bush and US Senators on both sides of the isle are backing Bernanke's economic plan so hopefully this will give our troubled economy a lift.

The Strike continues....

Watching the BBC news last night they falsely reported the Writer's Guild struck a tentative agreement with producers to end the strike. I got gitty with the thoughts of my favorite tv shows starting up again. Imagine my disappointment when I heard it was the director's guild instead. God bless these writer's in their plight! I'm not apart of any union but 'living without cable' I watch a lot of internet television whether it's music videos on Yahoo music or re-runs on ABC. Hold out guys, you shut down the Golden Globe Awards; The Grammy's and Emmy's are suspect. Not sure what it's going to take because the studios are playing hard ball, but God bless you WGA in your hold out!

Obama, Edwards for the White House!

I know, I know he looks like the typical white boy politician but I love hee! ;)
I've always been an Edwards fan and was torn between supporting Edwards and Obama for president. Yes, Barack gives me hope that America will be a great and respected country with a leader who has a better understanding of all of America and the world abroad. But John speaks for my family, the working poor and middle America who is the backbone of this country. So why divide my heart and support when I can support them both in the general election. So here's my bid for an Obama, Edwards ticket for the White House- Get 'em boys!
