Tehran Showdown!

The Bush administration wants to give diplomacy with Iran "teeth" and force stronger sanctions against them. With powerful nations like Russia and China supporting Iran it looks like there will be a showdown in Tehran before Ahmadinejad calls uncle.

And we thought our border fence was bad....

France passes a new immigration law that requires DNA testing for those moving to the country to live with relatives, French language and values test and proof of sustainable income from French residents to care for their relatives. And we thought the border fence was drastic!

In Venezuela, Chavez has proposed a constitutional reform to eliminate Presidential term limits and extending the term from 6 yrs to 7yrs.

Students protest the reforms and the police turn on their peaceful demonstration.
