Enough is Enough! After decades of resistance against oppressive military rule the torch for democracy has a new, unlikely bearer.The highly respected and traditionally neutral Burmese Monks and Nuns said enough and took to the streets last week. They vow to peaceful march until the government is toppled. Yesterday the government imposed a curfew to counter the Monk's demonstrations. They continued to protest and this morning was met with violence. There are countless reports of injures and at least one fatality.
And thanks to postings on YouTube by opposing democratic groups, they were able to bring global attention to their struggle. Viva la Révolution!
